THE PROCESS

The process is pretty straightforward and I’ll do my best to make it simple and easy.  Every project is unique, but you can generally expect the following sequence of events.

1.  When we first speak on the phone, we’ll discuss your electric power needs and how solar might be a solution for you.

2.  Looking over your home address and a few utility bills, I should be able to roughly determine whether or not solar is a good fit for your home.  There are a number of factors to consider, and I’ll do my best to clarify them as we go along.  If we determine that solar is a good fit for your home, I will design a system of panels for your property and submit those images for you to review. 

3.  We’ll discuss the panel design, the power you need, and which solar plan works best for you.

4.  All things going well, we’ll sit down together and go through the details of the solar agreement and sign you up!   
          Note:  After signing the agreement, you will have five days to cancel if you change your mind.

5.  Site Evaluation:  A site evaluator takes a closer look  your roof, rafters, and the main electric panel.  The site evaluator will also take close measurements of your roof in order to generate the final design of your solar system.  With your approval, we’ll move toward coordinating the project.

6.  Project Coordination:  Project coordination includes pulling all permits and filing a Notice To Proceed (NTP).  We’ll handle all of this. 

7.  Installation:  This is the day your beautiful new solar panels are mounted to your roof along with the wiring and inverters that connect them your main electric panel.

8.  Permission To Operate (PTO):  This is the day your new solar system is switched on, and your house becomes a solar powered home!
